The Museum of Memory and Tolerance,
Mexico City
A participative proposal for a reflection on violence
Interactive guide and app with accessible content for the visit
The Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico City was the first museum in Mexico to use our technology. With its new interactive guide, it replaces old audio guides used in other museums and fosters visitors’ involvement and reflection on the theme of violence through what it has called “the triangle of decisions”, in which visitors identify themselves with one of the three following characters: perpetrator, indifferent or implicated. Furthermore, this museum has pioneered the direct participation of its dissemination team and digital department in preparing the app through the content management tool Ventour (to know more about this and other GVAM technologies).
