{"id":9736,"date":"2021-01-26T09:15:51","date_gmt":"2021-01-26T09:15:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/?p=9736"},"modified":"2021-02-05T12:19:24","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T12:19:24","slug":"rurallure-horizonte2020-patrimonio-cultural-rutas-peregrinacion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/en\/rurallure-horizonte2020-patrimonio-cultural-rutas-peregrinacion\/","title":{"rendered":"GVAM joins rurAllure, the new Horizon2020 cultural heritage project around European pilgrimage routes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European project <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rurallure.eu\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/rurallure.eu\/\">rurAllure<\/a><\/strong><strong> (\u201cPromotion of rural museums and heritage sites in the vicinity of European pilgrimage routes\u201d) <\/strong>was\u00a0officially launched during the\u00a0kick-off meeting that took place on 11-13 January.<\/p>\n<p>This innovative Horizon2020 project fosters <strong>cultural cooperation and sustainable tourism in the proximity of the European historic pilgrimage routes<\/strong> leveraging the state-of-the-art in information technologies to promote rural museums and heritage sites with the objective of enhancing the <strong>symbiosis between rural environment and routes to enrich tourists\u2019 experience<\/strong> with a vast cultural heritage that most often goes unnoticed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GVAM joins the project as the lead partner of the WP3\u00a0in charge of the tasks related to the development of the technological platform<\/strong> needed for the project. In this sense GVAM will be providing its expertise and knowledge in order to create, in collaboration with the other partners involved, technological solutions that provide both\u00a0advanced content management facilities for institutions in the rural environment and\u00a0mobile\u00a0and web resources\u00a0to\u00a0support pilgrims in their journey.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9739 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/rurallure.jpg\" alt=\"Proyecto rurAllure\" width=\"800\" height=\"507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/rurallure.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/rurallure-768x487.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/rurallure-700x444.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/rurallure-120x76.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Implementation of 4 pilots around the main European pilgrimage routes<\/h2>\n<p>In addition, GVAM will work with the rest of the partners of the project on common strategies to develop on the project\u2019s pilots, each of them focusing on a particular type of heritage along a pilgrimage route:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/literary-heritage-on-the-ways-to-santiago-de-compostela\/\" data-id=\"90\" data-type=\"page\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/literary-heritage-on-the-ways-to-santiago-de-compostela\/\">Literary heritage on the ways to <strong>Santiago de Compostela<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/thermal-heritage-and-others-on-the-ways-to-rome\/\" data-id=\"92\" data-type=\"page\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/thermal-heritage-and-others-on-the-ways-to-rome\/\">Thermal heritage and others on the ways to <strong>Rome<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/ethnographic-heritage-on-the-ways-to-trondheim\/\" data-id=\"94\" data-type=\"page\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/ethnographic-heritage-on-the-ways-to-trondheim\/\">Ethnographic heritage on the ways to <strong>Trondheim<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/natural-heritage-on-the-ways-to-csiksomlyo\/\" data-id=\"96\" data-type=\"page\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.rurallure.eu\/pilots\/natural-heritage-on-the-ways-to-csiksomlyo\/\">Natural heritage on the ways to <strong>Cs\u00edksomly\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The objective is that the ongoing investment put into <strong>the pilgrimage routes leaves also a mark in the nearby rural areas<\/strong>, and, on the other, that<strong> pilgrims enjoy enriched experiences thanks to the cultural heritage of the rural environment and the technology solutions developed for this purpose.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gvam.es\/\">GVAM<\/a>, a total of <strong>15 cutting-edge European organizations and research institutions will work in the development of ruAllure\u2019s project:<\/strong> University of Vigo (ES), Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid (ES), Fundaci\u00f3n Ux\u00edo Novoneyra (ES), Universidade da Coru\u00f1a (ES), C\u00e2mara Municipal de Vila do Conde (PT), Korm\u00e1nyzati Informatikai Fejleszt\u00e9si \u00dcgyn\u00f6ks\u00e9g (HU), M\u00e1ria \u00dat K\u00f6zhaszn\u00fa Egyes\u00fclet (HU), Comenius University in Bratislava (SK), Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (SK), Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Padova (IT), Fondazione Homo Viator San Teobaldo (IT), Associazione Europea Vie Francigene (IT), Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Bologna (IT), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NO).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European project rurAllure (\u201cPromotion of rural museums and heritage sites in the vicinity of European pilgrimage routes\u201d) was\u00a0officially launched during the\u00a0kick-off meeting that took place on 11-13 January.
