Both municipalities will be incorporated into the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appside.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c1ppside<\/a> project, promoted by the Orange Foundation and GVAM to achieve equal access to culture and national heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Avila and Segovia\u2019 respective apps consist of an<b> <\/b><strong>interactive audio guide<\/strong> with several itineraries and audiovisual content, to guide visitors through the unique streets and enclaves of these two Castilian cities. Thanks to \u00c1ppside, they will be <strong>completely free and accessible to people with sensory disabilities<\/strong>, including subtitles and sign language videos for the deaf and audio description for the blind. Both can be downloaded in IOS and Android mobile phones.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c1ppside has already developed the mobile application for <strong>Madrid\u2019s<\/strong> L\u00e1zaro Galdiano museum and is working on the Carmen Thyssen Museum in <strong>Malaga<\/strong> and the Alc\u00e1zar de los Reyes Cristianos in <strong>Cordoba<\/strong>. With these new additions, two of the most important Spanish references in <b> <\/b><strong>inclusive tourism<\/strong> greatly improve their accessibility options, an effort recognized by organizations and groups of people with disabilities both in Avila and Segovia. Similarly, one of the main objectives of this project begins to materialize: bringing accessible culture to the most emblematic and representative areas of Spain. <b><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Avila and Segovia will be the first Spanish Heritage Cities to have a mobile application available for all visitors.
